Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using TypingTestGo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our Service.

Description of Service

TypingTestGo provides:

  • Free online typing speed tests
  • Typing practice tools and exercises
  • Progress tracking and statistics
  • Leaderboards and competitive features
  • Educational articles and resources
  • Gamification features (coins, shop, achievements)

The Service is provided "as is" with no guarantees of availability or accuracy.

User Accounts

Google Sign-In

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account
  • You must provide accurate information
  • You must be 13 years or older (or have parental consent)
  • One account per person - no multiple accounts for gaming the system

Guest Mode & Quick Mode

  • No account required
  • Data stored locally only
  • No warranty on data preservation

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use automated tools/bots to artificially inflate scores
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage the Service
  • Create multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards
  • Copy or reproduce content without permission
  • Use the Service for any illegal purposes
  • Harass or abuse other users
  • Attempt to reverse engineer the platform

Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or termination.

Leaderboards and Competitions

  • We reserve the right to remove suspicious or fraudulent scores
  • Leaderboard rankings are for entertainment purposes only
  • No monetary prizes are offered
  • We may reset leaderboards at any time
  • Cheating will result in permanent score removal and potential account ban

Virtual Items (Coins, Shop Items)

  • Coins and shop items have no real-world monetary value
  • All purchases are final (though everything is free)
  • We may add, remove, or modify virtual items at any time
  • Virtual items cannot be transferred or sold
  • Account termination results in loss of all virtual items

Content and Intellectual Property

Our Content

All content on TypingTestGo (design, text, code, graphics, logos) is owned by us and protected by copyright laws. You may not:

  • Copy or redistribute our content without permission
  • Use our branding or logos without authorization
  • Create derivative works of our platform

User-Generated Content

By submitting feedback or suggestions, you grant us the right to use them to improve the Service without compensation or attribution.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Accuracy of typing test results
  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Data preservation (especially in Guest/Quick Mode)
  • Suitability for specific purposes (e.g., official exams)

TypingTestGo is for practice only. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee our tests exactly match official typing exams (SSC, government job tests, etc.).

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TypingTestGo shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of data or progress
  • Exam failures due to practicing on our platform
  • Technical issues or service outages
  • Any damages arising from use of the Service

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed ₹100 (or $1 USD).

Service Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue features at any time
  • Change these Terms with notice
  • Suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations
  • Shut down the Service entirely (with advance notice if possible)

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect and use your information.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
